I feel strongly that Poonam is the BEST. Yet the other 3 are no less. If all the Pakis went through a no elimination round because of ,whatever, even it is an established fact that, in this world of men … Women have to compete harder and have been deprived of opportunities for ages now. Happening yet again in this century. Why could SAREGAMAPA not think and hv FINALS in these four…. AND by the way the biased MCP gurus have to be thrown out for sure to respect the talent. A committee of Legends like Lata JI/Asha JI/Anand JI should be invited to choose the winner

Its funny to read so much discussion about talent and that the best singer should win when the entire contest and the voters are geared up for multiple votes. I am not sure if multiple votes per person actually counts - but assuming it does, it is indeed a weird system. The show makes money out of the SMS and the contestant with the most “voting” clout wins. No wonder we get people like Sandeep Acharya and the Fame… singers. Atleast Saregamapa has a good bunch and whoever wins, no one will ever (ever??) be as ridiculous as Sandeep Acharya.

i don’t agree with you. Raja is the weakest contestant in the show and should be voted out if he continues giving the bad peformances. His pardeshi and tenu leke were not upto the mark. However if he improves and come back with bang then i won’t have any problem. And your comment about aneek is very irrational.

Hi Guys,
Let the deserving person win. Please, Please, Please. Please give it a thought before your vote. If you guys are also behaving like Himesh then how are you guys differnt from him. You then have no right to talk about his misdoings. Please judge people according to their merit and performance of the day. I personally feel Aneek has given a very consistent performance from the beginning and also tried songs of all generes. Poonam and Amanat stand next to him. Its a request to all of you, deserving candidates should not be eliminated because of any kind of bias.

Hi all, so happy to hear that Raja has come through to the next round.
Everyone should continue voting for their favourite singers, all the contestants in the competition at moment r good singers and that is why they have come so far.

I can’t understand why you say that people should not vote for their favourite singers, of course people will vote for their favourite singers. They are not going to vote for someone they do not want to win.
All the contestants have generally always sung well in the competition, so to stop voting for your favourite because they hadn’t sung well in one song, is silly. Everyone has a good and a bad day. When some one becomes your favourite singer, it is because they have sang extremely well and that is why they are close to the finals.
Raja’s bad day was over-exaggerated by himass besharmya.
I wouldnt vote for other singers as well……why waste your money!!!!! There is only going to be one champion in this competition.
All the last 6 singers are winners, they have achieved alot and will continue to.
I think the voting has been very sensible this week, with Raja on top!!!!!!!!!!!!. This will help with Raja’s confidence that was knocked down by HR. This is a good slap for HR!!!!!!! Can’t wait to see his face!!!!!!

This is my first post in this forum though I have visited this forum very often. And I am now tempted to give my perspective for whatever its worth
I hear a lot of debate about who is good and who is bad, who is obnoxious, who is the best. And everywhere I feel that there is an attempt to a)promote ones personal favourite b)humiliate
the next strongest contender.
Now we are left with 4 last people and I feel that each one of these are equally strong competitor to each other. And each one of them have their strengths
and areas of improvement. Lets not forget that no one is perfect and it is very easy to blow out of proportion the development needs of one person thus making
him look like a completely inadequate.
And I also hear some very strong statements where people are talking about ignorant naive janta voting out good contestants and I want to raise some fundamental question here–
Who decides who is good and how is it decided. The people who raise this are actually patronising the same system they are criticising. Because if you want to be
fair that how can you decide now who is the winner? Because winning would be decided by performances and not by potential. You dont pass an exam only because you know everything, but you pass an exam because you are able to use your knowledge to address the questions of the examination.
And thats the point people seem to be missing here. Everyone seems to have decided their respective winners already. But thats where teh system of voting fails.
Ideally we should listen to each performacnes and based on the performances we should cast our votes. And I dont think anyone of us do that.
I would request people to not get carried emotionally and wait to listen to performances and then give out their votes to the people whom they think that performed the best on that particular day and not whom they think should win.

Himesh & Ismail made Sumedha scapegoat to protect Aneek & Poonam with love triale which never exist. Sumedha suffered because of these 2 guy’s. I still hope Zee producers will bring her back on Public demand. Because Zee too is responsible as they allowed such love stories to be aired during the show.

I have read all the above comments. Yes, I agree, HR is the main spoiler of the good show. HR has no right to demoralize any of the contestants by passing un-diplomatic remarks. HR should change its attitude and stop showing off as there’s no one who could sing his compositions. Mussarat got eliminated because of HR making him sing wrong songs. His meaningless statements and rot bla bla bla any person would get irritated. May someone let HR understand that the stage is for the singers and not a lover’s park.
Organisers should stop HR behaving as the final authority. I strongly oppose the idea of giving wild card entry to regional language saregamapa winners into the contest where it is a open competition.
All the participants are very good singers. I feel sorry for Sumedha but it’s a contest and the truth is only one becomes the winner out of 100/1000 so on. Best of luck to Amanat, Raja, Poonam.

Hello everybody,
I was waiting with baited breath to know about the elimination results, since the day Bappi Lahiri gave Poonam 9 points for the song which she sang perfectly, but that whacko Bappi Lahiri, due to his own ignorance or with ulterior motives, claimed not to have heard it. I am now highly relieved to learn that Poonam has survived the elimination. From now on, I will only request that she sing only the popular songs, which majority of the people (those who don’t value good music) want to listen to or watch. Because ultimately the ignorant but dominant section of our society will decide the fate of the contestants.
Sumedha’s elimination is also not good, but someone had to go. She is a good singer, and despite being Poonam’s fan, I like Nigahen milane ko jee chaahta hai, sung by Sumedha, alongwith Aiye Meherbaan, from Howrah Bridge.
And, people please stop blaming Aneek for the stupidity of HR. Even Vinit was not able to shrug off HR’s nonsense in SRGMP 2005, and finally was the runner-up to Debojit. Everything happened because of HR, and this too, I am afraid, people because of the fuss created by HR, and to punish HR will try to vote out Aneek, who really is not responsible for the mess. Nothing is going to happen, HR will carry on with his antics till the end. Please people don’t punish Aneek because of HR.
As to the issue of versatility, I don’t think any of the male contestant is versatile. Each one specialise in their own specific genre. Amanat semi-classical/Light romantic type, Musarrat NFAK sufi type (I liked his Gulabi aankhen immensely), Aneek (alongwith Vinit of SRGMP 2005) belong to the Sonu Nigam camp, Raja Sukhvinder, Kailash Kher type. In bollywood we have had only two truly versatile male singers till date, Muhammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar, and Asha Bhosle amongst female singers. Its true that Aneek has sung all types of songs, but simply singing the song is not enough, one should also be able to bring apt emotion and soul into rendition of such songs. He has great talent, and his voice throw is also good, and as some people have pointed out being a Bengali, he also has classical base. But, just compare the song Sandese aate hain from Border, sung by him to the one sung by Vinit. You will find Vinit way ahead of him, When Vinit sings he brings along the right emotion into the song, plus he can sing like sandese aaaaaatehain, not like Aneek’s sandese aate hain, pausing in between these words. Shekhar rightly told Aneek about lack of emotion or soul in his songs. His voice lahra naheen pati hai, it does produce a proper waveform.
The only singer whether male or female who is truly versatile is none other than Poonam. Last time Shekhar told Aneek that he is the only one ready for playback. But if you recall properly Ashaji on May 18, and sometime after that upon Ismail Durbar’s requested when Vishal offered to sign Poonam, told her she is the only singer who has got the most powerful voice, and is ready for playback.
Aneek can sing songs of other singers, not just sonu’s, but has not yet sung them the way they were originally sung. While Poonam sing every song the way they were sung by the original singer, and sometimes even bettering the orignal. Aneek is very young has still got time on his side and will definitely develop into a highly successful singer. But for now and for SRGMP 2007 Poonam and only Poonam is the best.

Yeah…I guess the owner’s of the website deleated my comments from earlier. Here it is again. In the last two episode Amanat sang the best and Raja prevailed over a superior signer…Mussarat. So, one can how these naive voters…the mahority of whom will be voting for the rest of this show. Poonum is a much bigger singer than Aneek but is in the bottom 3 at the expense of these naive voters. This voting system is just pathetic…!

It doesn’t matter who wins b’coz they all have already started singing songs in films , has been recognized except that we are yet to hear Poonam n Mussarat getting offre to sing too. Why can’t you believe, paki44? This is an Indian show, with majority Indian janta and the difference between the top contestants are just hairlines. If it is a Paki show with majority Paki janta, won’t Raja or Aneek or Poonam comes out bottom 2? Nothing unbelievable!!
My judgement is that Amanat is a very good singer. I download all his songs as well as Raja’s, Aneek’s and others and listen to them many,many times. I can safely say that the most consistant and with a melodious voice and very versatile is Amanat. But who will win is another matter!

I don’t understand whatever you are saying - I will not stoop to your levels. I don’t think I support the kind of language you have used.
More importantly - in a voting system it should be one person one vote. Otherwise you are flexing your money muscle, like politicians do during election for rigging.
You should now vote for every other contestant as many times less one as you have voted for your favorite contestant to remove your rigging.
Please do not do it - its an insult to merit of the deserving candidates.

I do like Raja n Amanat too infact he is better then Aneek not that Aneek is bad singer, its just that he should be more original.As for HR he really needs to be out n if he has to be there then keep his mouth shut n treat all the singers equally. I agree Aneek has become puppet of HR. He was really simple n so himself when he joined. Infact all the singers are all good singers what matters is they should be recognized even after the show. I just can’t stand HR’s attitude, his looks and his way of apperaence.He is so fake. He will treat Aneek the same way he did to Vinit, hyped first then throw him down.

I am a great fan of saregamapa.I am happy that raja is the topper this week.I also like poonam and aneek.Aneek has only become a puppet of HR.HR should atleast become a bit dignified now.He is basking in self glory,and Aneek might lose out just because of this fact,who otherwise is the best singer of the lot obtainig this goal at such a young age.But one shouldnt be so much prejudiced and support good music,after all,each participant is putting their best effort.I personally never liked Amanat whose singing i never found up to the mark,not that i am a big judge or something ,but music when its good touches every heart.I like raja because he can really stir something inside you.

To beingfair: As I said earlier it is of no consequence now as to who ges eliminated! But to “kill” HR, this step is necessary. No sacrifice of talent here! All those remaining are talented and, in my opinion, if you were to ask me to rank the remaining contestants, Aneek will be last. So if he is the next one to be eliminated, then it is not such a bad thing, but the good thing is to really ELIMINATE HR and shut him up permanently at least for the next episodes of the show.

Its a big relief that Raja is in n that also on top ..thats a slap to HR comments. Sumedha is a good singer but here only the bestest has to stay coz. one one will win. As for Aneek I like him n hissinging but lately his behaviour is becoming oversmart n overconfedence….HR doesn’t know when to speak, what to speak n that look he has on his face whenever other ghrana sings which is really terrible. Maybe HR is trying to improve his acting for his next film.Amant shouldn’t be on bottom last , it should be Aneek.Aneek high time you shouldn concentrate on your singing n try to act your age.Congrates to Raja n WORK HARDER so that HR shouldn’t have any words to comment on you. As I said earlier, it is of no consequence that who is eliminated. All of them now are good singers and one of them will ultimately top the whole thing. Most of us sincerely wanted HR to be eliminated and our prayers were more or less answered! Now this goon will not have anything more to say on the fictitious love affair. If he wants he can now talk of his own personal love affair!!!
The next step to really get HR eliminated is to get Aneek voted out. Not that he deserve to be voted out but only to completely shut out his guru.

Hello guys, I am joining this forum now but I have been following this show and this forum from the very start.
Now coming to the point I would like to highlight that WE should’nt blame a person bcz of the deeds of others, as it is being done in case of ANEEK. If HR is doing wrong, let him do so bcz ONLY STUPIDS PERSISTS OVER THEIR MISTAKES. Judge Aneek as per his singing qualities.
All are good singers at this stage of show. But for me technically AMANET is better of all.

I agree Sandip. I hav always felt when a gud singer was going out. I felt too bad when Toshi & Mussarat were voted out recently. But its all democracy. Sometimes I may b wrong myself in my judgment when my fav r made to walk out. By thinking I may be wrong makes me feel light. Honestly I wish the elimination stops here but again it continues and we are ought to loose our or somebody else’s fav. I try not to keep any personal attachment with any particular singer and just enjoy every singer’s performance. But its too much to be idealistic I know.

Do u think we sud agree that fact that ppl vote 300 times that too @6Rs per sms and whatever applicable charges??? Do go with their words Aneek’s fans also have told the same kind of statements. Lets agree to the fact that everybody has their own fav and its not correct to term others fav as wrong choice. I personally like SC Bose & Bhagat Singh and don’t like Ghandhi. But that doesn’t mean I dont deserve to be an Indian. Lets just cheer to our fav rather than passing illicit comments on the dislikes. Each one is good at something and may be weak at something else when compared with their peers.
Ultimate talent is the one who shines after the challenge is over. However it doesnt mean the ultimate truth, bcos there are many who dont even get glimpse to perform & prove.
I was under an assumption that I know better in music & synthesizers being appreciated for any work I do for the music dir here. But was stunned to see a small boy with a little harmonium outperform; he was able to manipulate the pitch with out pitch blend wheels (unlike synthesizers) and his chords were so perfect that I accepted to myself he was great.
Its all the experience that matters

Read in some other forum that somebody had voted Raja 300 times and another one 250 times! For that performance?
Amanat, Aneek, Sumedha sang much better. Did these people who voted for Raja cast a single vote for these singers?

I am not happy with the results at all. Sumedha was good last week and should not have been voted out. Raja#1, what’s up with that? His performances from last couple of weeks has gone down hill and he still manages to be #1

007 totally agreed with u. its sooooo much harder for a good female singer to be appreciated. any one of the top3 males and those who left earlier have bright futures. but like u said poonam is not getting many (if any) offers for singing. therefore we should all vote her and make her win. It would do wonders for talent contests and prove that talentt really is appreciated (btw im not saying raja, amanat, annek are not talented but for someone like poonam it has been an immense journey- all things considered)

Is it mandate to get a glory after a sacrifice always. The happiness that Raja has topped is very short lived with Sumedha being eliminated.

I think Poonam should win this contest. She is not getting any good offers from music directors. Instead mouli(most awful singer with mirror cracking voice i have ever seen) is getting good offers all because of bapppppi-idiot. And others are also getting like in Bal Ganesh.
I wish her all the luck in her life. I think she is going to get the most wonderful n most best offer among all others who have got now.
She is the real STAR. She changers her voice accordingly, adjusting it to the type of the song and she sings all types of songs. Easier to most tough ones unlike sumedha who siongs very easy songs which suits her nasal voice.
I again say Poonam should win the contest. She is really a role model. She deserves to win.

None of the contestants were/are involved in any drama. Its only HR.
The contestants are scared to protest because this the biggest platform they have to launch their singing career and they don;t want to go against any mentor!

Guys after reading all the comments I am posting mine. I do agree with you on Himesh he should never be a judge. All the popularity he got he is going to loose. Most of us have made commitment not to watch any of his movies or buy his music. I like Aneek but beacuse of HR I want him to be the next to go out. Amant, Raja, Poonam you are all good singers and should be the last 3.

The best four are in the finals.Congratulations to Amanat, Raja , Aneek and Poonam. Sumedha was a great competitor and it is no shame to lose out at this stage. She lost out to some real good singers. It is a difficult contest and to last till this stage was a big achievement. Sumedha was a good singer. She looked good and behaved in a sporting manner despite some very bad behaviour by HR who kept harping at a non existent love triangle. He encouraged a young guy like Aneek to speak rubbish as well. Amanat was more matured and took it lightly without hurting Sumedha. May god bless her with happiness and a long cherished career whichever one she chooses.
Some of you above use foul language against contestants which are difficult to understand. If a contestant is being voted in or voted out why use bad language against them. In what way are they to be blamed.Are they not enlightening our evenings through their talent. The comments made by KLCC are not in good taste at all. Please respect the contestants as they are there because of their singing talent only. Those of who have been voted out Junaid Mussarat Harpreet etc are all equally good only that they have been unlucky to miss out on votes. They are known the world over and I am sure if they utilise their experience and the exposure they got god willing have a great future ahead of them.
Once again sorry Sumedha and good luck to the last 4 challengers. They all deserve to be there.

I feel bad for Sumedha but I do realise that only one person can be the winner in the end. I wish Sumedha very best of wishes for her future.. May she get success in her career and be a very well known name in music Industry.
