   Good question chithra.
   The reason is South Indian kids find it difficult to sing Hindi songs. They may byheart some hindi songs initially in the show but as the show progresses they won’t be able to follow up.
   I felt very bad about this.

   Hapuchi,

   I do agree with you. At times it’s kind of awkward to hear those phrases from those innocent mouths. And then they will also need to bring emotions in their songs. I wonder how it will be like….!
   Anyway I think good choice of songs and good lyrics will make it all fine.

   Kids could be singing well however it really feels awkward when I hear 13-14 year old girls singing “Tan ki Jwala Thandi Ho Jay Aise Gale laga jaâ€? !! or a young boy singing “.
   “Yarko maine, maine yar ko sone na diya” etc etc

   The words and meaning of some of the songs are just not suitable for young kids to sing or atleast as i said it is weird to listen to those words coming out of their mouth no matter how well they sing!!

   I do not see anybody from the South..was there not any audition done in South? Any specific reason.

   I know.. second day was really boring.. Next week should be interesting.. Some pakistani kids are going to perform.. I am pretty sure they will be really good..
