Hi Everybody..

Welcome Back.. In previous episode, Raja Hasan and Harpreet Deol were selected as the winners of the Brahmastra Round. So 14 finalists are ready for the Agnipariksha Round and the decision now onwards will be taken by public voting.

Group Performance..

The show begins with the 14 finalistsÂ along withÂ Aditya singing the title song of Saregamapa.. After the group performance Aditya announced that the competition is getting tougher and tougher day by day as not the decision is in the hands of the public. And only public voting will decide the winner of Saregamapa Challenge 2007 winner… The participants have to really work hard to get through.. Because it is going to be musical contest for the participants, Nokia is sponsoring and providing all the 14 finalists with Nokia 5700 phone where they can store 500 songs and listen to them.. They can sit in their bunglow and perform.. He distributes it to all the contestants..

First Gharana to Perform is Josh Gharana

Aditya first calls Sumedha and he addresses her as Barbie doll of Josh gharana.. She sings Aaj ki raat from Don..

ID - Sumedha your voice is really beautiful but “Sur Nahi Lag Rahe The”.. Abhijit you need to put in more energy in the song. Mauli you know we are going to make a big album with you so I am talking in that perspective.. You really need to improve your singing skills..
HR - Himesh said that his comments will be given by Aditya for today’s show. Aditya (for Himesh) - He said Sumedha your performance was really good and you put good energy in the song. For Abhijit he said jokingly that he is scared to comment on him as he is so strong that he can throw him out of the stage.. Coming on performance, it was as strong as you look.. But need to improve more.. For Mauli he said after a long time he liked the way she sang.. It is different that he always enjoys the performance when she is on stage but today singing was good..

Himesh today gave us a little bit of hint regarding the rumors of Mauli and Aditya Love Relationship… He asked whether Aditya has girlfriend and he denied it.. He then asked Mauli whether she has a Boyfriend. She too said NO.. Himesh reconfirmed with both of them but both of them stuck to same answer. Then Himesh said that today I would like to say to Mauli and Aditya “JHOOTH MAT BOLA KARO”… So guys watch this today.. Is this some kind of hint what we all were thinking…

VS - Vishal asked Sumedha to concentrate more on the Sur.. He asked Abhijit to focus on Taal of the song.. and for Mauli we all expect more from you.. asked her to improve her singing..
Bappida - Mauli you are Shakira of India and we will prove it.. Sumedha you need to improve more..

Next Gharana to Perform is Yalgar Gharana

First amongst Ismail’s Challengers is Amanat Ali who sang Salaam-E-Ishq’s movie’s song Ya Rabba… Was such a touching performance.. After the performance Shekhar came on the stage to congratulate Amanat and said it was a fantastic performance and if Shankar Ehsaan Loy would have heard your voice today he would have been really happy..

Bappida â€“ Poonam you set up a beautiful mood here.. Amanat you are a fantastic singer.. Rimi you too sang good..
VS â€“ Amanat we are your fan.. You sang really good. For Rimi â€“ your voice was shaky at times and your high notes were pitching properly.. Even for Poonam.. Your low notes were not right on spot.. It was not that good.. Shekhar said for Rimi she has beautiful voice so she should select songs with more calmness and sing soft songs rather than such high notes songs. Poonam you were fantastic..
ID â€“ Rimi you didnâ€™t sing that good. He requested Vishal Shekhar to give Poonam chance to sing for them. Vishal immedietly agreed and said as Ismail has said it will be done.. Vishal added that they were thinking today if in this show one female singer who is ready to record right now is none other than Poonam.. So it was already in their mind.. Ismail said that it is so encouraging for new talents that composers like VS are giving them chance so quickly.. And Poonam is 7th or 8th to whom VS are giving opportunity..
HR â€“ Aditya gave his comments on behalf of HR. For Amanat.. He is a big fan of his and his todayâ€™s performance was mindblowing. For Poonam â€“ You sang really good today.. I always call you pocket size power house. For Rimi â€“ If you would have chosen the softer version of the same song your performance would have been much better.. Himesh appreciated his sense of understanding and said this is why he asked him to comment on his behalf.

Next Gharana to perform is Hit Squad Gharana

And first to perform is a very soothing voice contestant Junaid Sheikh who sang Maula Mere Maula Mere from the movie Anwar.

VS - Vishal - All the four of you did not sing up to your potential.. Shekhar - I will give individual comments later, but all sang well..

Himesh praises Aditya for giving these comments and says he is a star and genuinely he will go very far if he has so much knowledge in this young age.. Aditya was just confused and blushing all the time

Bappida - Mussarat you sang really good.. Aneek you sang good as well.. You all four are so good that I want to sing a line for all you participants.. He sang Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna..
ID - Mussarat you sang really good.. You always sing high notes today you sang middle notes and it was really good.. You still need to sing on low notes and perform good on that too..
Aditya - Aneek, I think you have tremendous potential of being great singer.. Nirupama you sang good.. Mussarat, you were that prepared for the song and becomes evident first.. So you need to work hard on preparing the song.Â For Joy he sarcastically commented on the composition of that song Alvida by saying - dunno what song it was.. Even then you sang well so all credit goes to you..Â
VS -Â Nirupama’s voice will suite for recording.. But she needs to concentrate on the Sur of the song.. Mussarat has always been good.. Aneek’s performance was so good that it left behind the other’s performances..

Himesh thanked Aditya and said that my decision of asking you to give comments was so right.. He said that Aditya you have potential to judge so right things so you will go very far in life..

Bengoli Tiger As Aneek, he is the best, the way his songs selection is extermly suits for him… so he deserve it

I s it fair to bring those 2 winners on this saregama pa (aneek dhar and abhijeet)

I am not against aneek at all i think he has god gifted voice but i don’t find it fair that he came in the middle of the competition and now he is the tremondeous singer sorry i don’t agree.

what if he is the winner would it be fair for the other singers eg RAJA, AMANAT, MUSSARAT ETC

I DON’T THINK SO.

my vote will only be for raja and raja cause whenever he sings he just touches my heart

Yes Raja and Aneek are strong contenders although Raja has versatality..he sang all Nos, item/fast, slow, melodius, sad and pop…all were excellent.
Aneek has the potentional but he has not shown the abilities

Saw the latest episodeâ€¦â€¦..nice! I wonder why everybody in the forums questions Mauliâ€™s credentials and her singing capabilitiesâ€¦.especially her versatility when the same issues can be raised about Amanat?! Donâ€™t get me wrong, he is a fantastic singer but I have not seen him perform fast numbers or tracks which are so called item numbers. As far as I am concerned the two strongest contestants are Aneek and Raja. Musarrat and Amanat are close. Poonam amongst the girls is very good.
