Review on Episode 16th - 23rd June 2007 of Saregamapa Challenge 2007

Hi People I am back with yet another part of Chakravyuha Round. As we all know today 6 participants - 3 girls and 3 boys will perform out of which only two will be selected - One Boy and One Girl.

First Part of Chakravyuha Round.

Amanat Ali, Raja Hasan and Sunil Kumar are the three to perform amongst the boys for Chakravyuha Round. In the same round of the participant will be eliminated.

Performance By Contestants - BoysÂ Â

Raja Hasan of Hit Squad Gharana is the first amongst the boys to perform and he sang Tere Bina from the movie Guru.

Next to come on stage is Sunil Kumar of Josh Gharana. He sings Laivi Na Gai from the movie Chalte Chalte.

Last to perform amongst the boys is Amanat AliÂ of Yalgar Gharana. He sings Yeh Hosla Kaise Ruko. Vishal appreciated his mindblowing performance and said that now the real competition has started. Shekhar said he isÂ so proud to be part of Saregamapa Challenge 2007 because of his brilliant performance. Vishal said Ismailji has given a very good training to Amanat Ali. To which Ismailji honestly answered that Amanat has already got great training and it his efforts which are creating amazing results for him.

Comments from Mentors: -

ID - Amanat Ali sang really good so I want to keep that happiness for couple of minutes and for other two participants other mentors will comment.
HR - Amanat you sang amazingly good. Now decision as usual is in Maha Guru’s hands.
VS - Shekhar announced they are going to compose music for one movie in seven to ten days and Amanat Ali, Raja Hasan, Apoorva, Junaid Sheikh and Mussarat Abbas will sing song for them.
Bappida - Sunil and Raja performed good as well today. Amanat Ali was great. Bappida said that he took Amanat Ali to the semi finals and then Ismail Darbar joined him for final round and finalised Amanat Ali. So he is really proud of Amanat.

Maha Guru’s Comments and Result:-

Kalyanji said that all these three singers are so good that it is difficult for me to take decision. According to Kalyanji Sunil can become a great singer in future but for now he needs to improve a lot on his skills.

So Sunil Kumar from Josh Gharana is eliminated for the first part of Chakravyuha Round amongst the boys. Sunil asked mentors if he can sing few lines and he sang Tu Mane Ya Na Mane.

Vishalji boosted Sunil by saying that someone who gets out doesnot mean they are not good. Shekhar announced that they selected 5 singers to sing their composed song, but now there will be 6 singers and sixth one is Sunil Kumar.

Aditya congratulated Raja and Amanat as they have cleared the first part of Chakravyuha Round.

Rimi Dhar of Yalgar Gharana is the first amongst the girls to perform. She sang Hai Rama Yeh Kya Hua from the movie Rangeela. Next is Shaberi Bhattacharya of Hit Squad Gharana. She sang Hoo La La from the movie Sapne. And the last to perform is Richa Tripathi from Josh Gharana. Kehna Hi Kya from the movie Bombay is the song she performed today.

Comments from the Mentors: -
Bappida - Saberi you sang with right confidence. Rimi was good but she slipped a bit in the Anthra but overall it was good performance. Richa has classical background so she sang the song with a ease and the Alap she took was really well done.
VS - Shekhar said that you three sang A R Rahman Sahab’s songs and I am big fan of AR Rahaman and Ismail Darbar. All three of you sang really good. Vishal asked them not to get nervous and it is game so obviously one will be out.
ID - Ismailji is big fan of A R Rahman’s songs and has heard all these three songs many times. But he thought that none of the three have performed upto expected standards.
HR - Though they didnt sing properly today but their tonal quality is really good. So if a fresh songs recording is done they all will be really amazing.

Maha Guru’s Comments and Result: -

Kalyanji said that all three of you have classical base but everyone was out of sur at some or other times. All need to work hard on their song.

Kalyaji took a decision and eliminated Richa Tripathi of Josh Gharana. It was so sad when Richa had to say few words. It broke my heart.. Bappida said that she is a very good classical singer and anyways it is your decision. Kalyanji took a very wrong decision. Himeshji asked Richa if she is satisfied with the

decision. Richa said that Ananji is our senior and I want to respect his decision. Himeshji explained Richa by saying that you need to put your point of view before the audience so that they can understand your situation and not keep it to yourself. Richa honestly replied that she is not satisfied with the decision.

Second part of the Chakrayuha Round: -

First to perform is Raja Hasan and he sang Taare Bina Laage Nahi Mara Jiya Re. Raja stopped for couple of seconds in the Anthra and all the mentors encouraged to go on. He continued singing again and was on the right notes again. Next is Amanat Ali from Dubai. He sang Kabhi Aa Mil Sawal Ja.

From the girls it is Rimi Dhar of Yalgar Gharana to sing first. She performed on the song Dholna. Saberi Bhattacharya from Hit Squad sang Leja Leja.

Maha Guru’s Comments: -

Kalyanji - Both ofÂ them sang beautifully. For Rimi, the song that you sang impressed me a lot and so he gave Rimi green card. Saberi Bhattacharya is eliminated amongst girls.

Finally someone praised our cute Aditya Narayan. He was blushing so much my God.. He is so cute.. Himeshji said that our shows TRP are so good and it is because of Aditya as he is very sweet and cute. So everyone should thank Aditya..

Amongst the boys Raja Hasan is eliminated. Amanat goes ahead to Angnipariksha Round.

So Rimi Dhar and Amanat Ali of Yalgar Gharana move forward to Agnipariksha Round.

Vishal Shekhar has got Brahamasta and they have brought back 8 contestants and among them 2 will be selected next week. Guess what Sunny Deol and Dharmendra are going to be guest judges next week.

I liked today’s results, AMANAT was awesome, I’m so proud of VS to give break to 6 contestants, especially someone like Sunil, I felt sad on Sunil’s elimination. I hope Harpreet and Sunil come back in the brahmasthra round.

OH THIS WILL BE EXCTING DHARMENDRA SUNNY MY FAV AND BOBBY THERE WOW AND I AM GLAD THAT vs BROUGHT THE OTHER GOOD SINGER BACK.
I HOPE SAARIKA WINS TO ME SHE IS GOOD REST ID UP TO GOD ALL OF THEM ARE GOOD THEY TRY HARD. I WOULD SAY THESE 8 CONTESTANTS WHO WERE ELIMINATED ARE BETTER THAN “MAULI DAVE”
