Mauli Dave, a 19 year old from Houston, Texas, USA has keen interest in playing tennis and is also a professional dancer. Her favorite actors in bollywood are Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. She looks up to A.R Rehman for inspiration and hopes to sing for the musical genius one day.

She was crowned as Miss Teen India Texas 2007.

She became the darling of the nation when she sang the â€œMayya Mayyaâ€? song from the movie Guru in the first episode of Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2007. She received immense appreciations from all the mentors who gave her standing ovation on the very first episode of challenge 2007. Mauli was immediately taken by Bappi Lahiri in his Josh Gharana.

U r not from India after that ur singing quality & clearity are very good.

always remain that don’t try to sing different type of song in that level it will be harmful. your voice are fit for rok singing & folk singing so when u r selecting a song please select due to ur voice & ur quality of singing.

It is good that u r trying to sing “Swadesh” & “Tall” & i m confidentely says that u will sing it very well after the “REIYAZ”.

i know that u have a lots of fan but i offer u for friendship.

I don’t understand why people want to eliminate Mauli Dave because she is from US. About Vishal-Shekhar, especially Shekhar Talking about Rubbish. I Don’t understand his mentology. He looking Allrounder Singer and that’s Why he want to eliminate Mauli. But dear Shekhar, You are also not Allrounder, you can’t compose songs like Laxmikant Pyarelal or R.D.Burman or Even Himesh Reshammiya. So In This world Doctor can’t Do Engineer’s Work and Engineer Can’t Do Body operation. No One Singer sing everytype of sing means no one allrounder right now & no one be a all Rounder in future.

Mauli, Keep it up. We will with you and your singing is very strong. We all USA, UK And Gujarat with you. I pray God You will be a Winner.

Since u came into SRGM i dont miss this programme. I am in gulf.. I was a dead fan of yours. And that day when Himesh Reshamiya asked you to sing the song Mayya mayya.. i am craze for you and love u a lot.You please dont sing songs just sung that day “Tadap tadap” i was dissapointed when u got low marks.. but i knew u will come back and u made it and rocked the screen by singing “No..No..No entry”..wow it was grreat.. You may be having a lot many fans but u have a cute little youngest fan…he is my 4 yr old nephew Jibran…he just loves u and makes all of us use our cell phones to cast a vote for u….he keeps insisting to spell out ur name so that he can learn ur spelling in turn to help him type it in the sms….He laughs when u laugh…and even cries when u do….he keeps using the term “OK OK OK” the way sang in the song K sera sera…..and now his latest being “no no no no entry”…..wish Aditiya could mention his name in one of episode …my little nephew will be VEERRRY happy…coz he absolutely adores u…. hi mauli. i would not deny that, iam not a die hard fan of yours, but like, vishal and shekhar said today, you can be the next sunidhi. i really like your attitude while you sing. there might be some reason for you, not to be able to sing the taal song properly, which i dont have a clue of, for you have mentors teaching you, so they know better. well, coming to the point, why iam sending you this message is, i wanted you to sing some songs, which iam waiting a constentant to sing. you have the ability to sing those songs, so iam telling you. you know, that song, MUNGDA, helen ka, main ghudki chali, magta hai to aaja rasiya, and so on it goes, try that, or, shubha mudgal’s song, MAN KE MANJIRE AAJ CHALKNE LAGE. try, TADAPAAYE TARSAAYE RE, i dont know which film this is from but amrita arora had done this item number. or, KAISI PAHELI HAI YE KAISI PAHELI, from parneeta. i totally agree with you, if you chose the taal song, for you wanted to show your versitality, for the compitition is to see and chose that person who not only sings well, but can entertain a mass made of different tastes. even try, HUSNA KE LAAKHO RANG, it is a old song. try, RAAT AKELI HAI, BUJHA GAYE DIYE. try rajasthani folk songs, or what illa arun has sung. hmm…i suppose i will stop here. i am just a well wisher of yours. you are good so you deserve good. may be by the time you see this message, it would be too late, but for me, it would be, atleast i tried. take care dear one, with loads of love, vivir.

I am living in NJ, USA. Ever since I heard you singing Mayya Mayya, I new you are gonna go far. According to me you are a STAR already. But as a genuine fan of yours I would say that PLEASE DONT LET ALL THIS PRAISE GET INTO YOUR HEAD. You still have a long way to go.
I think there are few people in the competition who can be a threat for you in becoming the champ in SaRaGaMaPa 2007. But I am sure you will make it all the way.

I will be going to Houston in October. I wish you were there when I am in Houston so I can meet you personally and congratulate you as I am sure you are going to win.
