Of course, public voting…This is Gajji’s show!

Oh, cool! You mean that each week, there will be new judges? That makes it interesting, especially for the contestants. Each judge has his/her own method of critiquing the contestants and after a while, I guess the participants learn what the judges want to see and hear. Well, that will change at least somewhat with each rotation of judging groups. How will a winner or winning family be chosen, public voting?

    Sonniagul,
There is one good news though - that there is going to be a new set of judges (musical families) every week. So, ID is there for just the first week.

Totally agree, MusicBuff. I would have liked to see a judge with a bit of personality on the show. Or, if ID had to be a judge in the show, there should have been a judge that was a little more animated than him, you know, to balance things out. Hmmm, I guess that means no heated arguments or differences of opinion to look forward to, at least among the judges. I don’t know what’s worse: constantly bickering judges or tight lipped ones.

Don’t u think Ismail Darbar is boring as a judge…he is a man of few words (quite literally)! ;-)

LOL…She is a singer. She sang a few songs for Kisna (Music Dir: Ismail Darbar). Apart from that she has sung a song in “Kudiyon ka hai Zamana” which released a few months back.

Oops! I accidently sent that one! :) Anyway, Aanshi, I also think that the winner of SRGMP 2008 (USA), will be chosen as a wild card entry for challenge 2009. MusicBuff, I also am watching and enjoying Waar Parivar. There are some family members that show real potential so I also think it’s worth my time to watch, Btw, does anyone know what ID’s wife is famous for? If you haven’t seen the show, Ismail Darbar and his wife are judging and I don’t know who his wife is, in terms of her position in the music industry.

Another singing-based reality show worth watching is Warr-Parivar on Sony Television. Three members of a family perform as a team.
I watched its first episode, and some of the contestants seem to be very promising.

It is SRGMP Challenge 2008 USA.. I am not sure but have a hunch that may be they will select the winner of SRGMP USA and will include him/her in Challenge 2009 - Which will be again international Challenge..

    Not sure though..

@ MusicBuff, how weird! The only one I know of is the USA one for 2008. You are right though, it’s misleading, and confusing. I guess we’ll have to wait until it airs on zee to know for sure!

    @Sonniagul1,
I think it is a little misleading on that site. They call it SRGMP Challenge 2008 & mention that the finals would take place in India.

Hi, Beingfair! How are you? @ MusicBuff, i saw the srgmp 2008 audition details on that site too. Remember when Beingfair and I were playing with the idea of auditioning? It’s that show, challenge USA but I guess the crew will go outside the USA to find talent too. USA auditions already took place and later this year, the show will be taped in Dallas. SRGMP 2009 will be held in India again.

Hey the email that I generally get from your SRGMP little champs 2008 latest updates led me to open that website which has a mention of this website’s name. Then I saw that the administrator’s name was kind of similar to yours.

Yeah, what made you infer that, beingfair? I went back to that site to see if I could find a clue or pattern but did not find anything.
Have you been reading a lot of Sherlock Holmes, lately? ;-)

I thought Ishmeet could have got a little more while Rahul Vaidya could have got a little lesser, as far as judge’s points are concerned. I agree with the rest of the points.
Harshit was mind-blowing, and I love that song.
