Aamir Hafeez - Teri Deewani
Little Champ Aamir Hafiz’s performance of Teri Deewani is definitely one of the best performances so far in Saregamapa Little Champs International.. Quite a few contestants have already performed on this song in their respective competitions.. and most of them have received full marks for singing this song.. Lets listen to other performances and compare how our Lil Aamir actually did.. Was he better than other? Which after listening to all the performances I believe he was!
I know it is not fair to compare Little Champ’s performances with older contestants like Raja Hasan and Toshi.. But to be frank I found Aamir’s performance better and more soulful than these two contestants.. But then again this is just my opinion.. Â

I think….why this performance is more soulful than others is bcoz of aamir’s voice.Among all contestants (Raja Emon etc) the most close or similar voice to kailash kher’s was that of aamir’s so that’s made us to forget all other performances. While I was watching Performance for the first Time, listening The very first Verses I realized that performance gonna Rock This season & it would.
And that’s what made Sonu to hug and kiss him.

In my opinion, the girl from Dilli is a die hard fan of Raja. Otherwise, Raja’s marks is not justified. To me everyone sang better than Raja.
To me, Ameer is the best here…Raja’s notes were pretty flat and he could not justify his ability to sing for sure.

Delhi_gurl,
A very detailed analysis and a great one.
The only thing I would like to point out that lyrics should be same and Raja was also off-key a couple of times.
What do you think?

Emon 6 /10
Words where little not clear and he was little fast should bave tken little extra time to say the words .. like ishq janoon jab haad se baar jaayee ishq jadoo saar char ke bolen …
Ishq kid marzi hai raab ki marzi … was little extra quick
Other wise he sang good in full tune and perfect sur …. and great
Abrokati 7/10
Sang perfectly in the aalaap
Then tune kkay kaar dala …the first para after the aaalap was little quick … otherwise great no doubt … I think the age was not in his side if we was 21+ this song form him would have sounded diff and fabulous
Feeling was fantastic
Toshi 4/10
He could no ttake the aalp as good as Abrokanti or Emon …
Feeling was good
He try to add the classical toward the end was not that effective.
Raja 8/10
Again great great start every word is pronounce perfectly fantastic feeling
Great / great song well sang
Aamir 7/10
He was not better than raja but as good as Abrokanti I think little better than Abrokanti
Abrokanti was little low as compare to Aamir on pronunciation but better in feeling as compare to AAmir no doubt when I hear the second time I have to change my opinion about AAmir I did not like the guy b4 now I think I like him
Kailash Kher
Let us not compare him but in him, He is the best. But again there is a an extra music in his version in the form of string that is the guitar that is not there in any of the version of the competition. Actually that carried the song a long way. And with the additional weight of other voices in the background also gave the song a totally a diff value
In the
Aanshi I like Emon better than Toshi
Kay ,
You are correct with that but words are like it is a diff song and he did mess up the words but in today’s era and with advancement on the recording style we can compromise those error. No fight it is my penny contribution ….

Hi guys,
New here. Just wanted to leave a quick comment.
This song is amazing and in seeing all the performance, Aamir was amazing. But I just realized after seeing Raja’s performance that he sang the song incorrectly. He really messed up the words.
He sings “Lut gayi mein” when it’s “mar gayi mein”, then in another part in the “ishq junoon” paragraph he says “lakh lagado phere” but the song’s actual lyrics are “khub lagalo phere”.
I noticed this and I have to tell you that ruined the song for me with Raja. I don’t like it when people don’t sing the correct lyrics. You can improvise a bit with the tune ..shouldn’t do it that much, but for god’s sake sing the song’s lyrics correctly.
Anyway my two cents in..

Hi Dhirani,
I think Jenny is still pissed off at me. So I dare not to inquire!

Sorry Aanshi,
I saw the link and listened to the song and i completely differ with Siddharth here, according to my ears Emon has not even understood the tune of the song and its feel.
Therefore Emon should be first from the last.

Hey Siddharth,
I never knew Emon also sang Teri Diwani, please Aanshi if you have a clip of Emon, can you upload it too, for our better judgement.

Dear Aansi,
Thanks for putting “teri Deewani” from all the singers. Could you please add Emon’s song also from Indian Idol.
I aggree that Raja is the weakest link here.
1. Ameer Hafiz
2. Abhrokanti
3. Emon
4. Toshi
5. Raja
I didn’t want to put Kailsh Kher’s name as he cannot be compared with these new guys. But Ameer is very close to him.

aanshi,
this was a clever idea, i mean the comparison. this is innovation.
if there is no hangama for ‘lil champs’ you can start by writing the off screen comments, that is what makes ripples.
jhoom india is doing pretty well in that regards.

Hey Gujju gang and Aanshi,
In a way you are right Aanshi, Aamir was wonderful, he had clarity in his voice and he is the youngest to sing this song, but not to the extent that he was better than all.
Everyone had his own style and Abrokanti was good too. After hearing their performance in your not so brilliant voice quality, I would rank them as follows:
1. Kailash Kher (due being original)
2. Aamir Hafeez (due being young and clear)
3. Abrokanti (as he sang his own tune near end)
4. Toshi (some diff lyrics and was sure to add)
5. Raja (just plain good in comparison)
However, the rating may change after listening in a better sound quality environment.
Sharibaba is happy because you have given credit to Aamir, but remember Aamir forgets and if now he forgets, he is doomed.

water musicbuff cos u shudve thot when u guys attacked me unnecessarliy jus cos i was givin my honest opinions abt vasundaras wherewolf singing.dont care if u dont like it aders or even admin cos u guys mus learn to face the truth.geting to ur comment u made abt aamirs performance its tru what u said but there are gona be ader singers who r gona sing it differently as theyv probably bn taught that way.best of luck to him as his possibly the best

Aanshi,
I agree that he sang it better than Raja, Toshi and Abhro, but to compare it with the original is a bit unfair to these singers, as Kailash would not have possibly sung this song in one take.
Again, all Raja/Toshi/Abhro fans, this is my personal opinion. Please dont overreact if you disagree.
